Ms. Ashley has been teaching for over 15 years and recently joined us in August of 2025. She is currently working towards a bachelor's degree in education and offers nature classes for children over the weekends. Ms. Ashley has two children, a 6-year-old girl and 3-year-old boy. She enjoys playing with her children and taking care of her chickens. She loves hiking and when not at work you can find her coaching her daughters wrestling team! Fun Fact: She has several insect tattoos on her arm!

Mrs. Tanya Mrs. Tanya started with us in January of 2026. She has a bachelor's in psychology with a minor in family and consumer science focused on child development. After raising her two boys she has returned to school to take more classes in early childhood education to expand her knowledge. Mrs. Tanya is very passionate about the Reggio Approach to education and is eager to dive into it with us. She enjoys observing and exploring nature (especially birds and critters), traveling and exploring new places, exercising, and enjoying a good cup of coffee with friends and family. Fun Fact: She has a pet bunny at home named Benny. 
Mrs. Trish Mrs.Trish joined Mill Creek ECP in October of 2024. She has a bachelor's in film production but found that her passion was working with children and has been doing so for the past seven years. She is married and has one daughter, 2 dogs and one cat. When she is not at work with the children she enjoys painting, writing and being out and about. She also is an avid reader as she will always be deep into a book during her break! |
Mrs. Courtney Mrs. Courtney joined Mill Creek ECP in March of 2023. She had been working in early childhood education for 6 years and obtained her CDA (Child Development Associate) with us, making her teacher qualified. She loves the small class sizes and family feel of Mill Creek ECP. Mrs. Courtney has a son attending Mill Creek ECP and has 3 cats! In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors and game nights with her family and friends. Fun Fact: Ms. Courtney has been a cosmetologist for over a decade and still does this on her spare time! 
Ms. Irene Ms. Irene joined us in March of 2025 as our afternoon enrichment teacher while she was attending school, working towards her degree in early childhood with a focus in special education. She was able to adjust her classes to evenings and online so she could join us full time in the summer of 2025. Ms. Irene has 6 brothers; she is the only girl in her family! She is half Mexican and half Honduran and enjoys sharing her language with the children. Ms. Irene enjoys reading. Fun Fact: She is a Strawberry Shortcake fan! 
Ms. Madison Ms. Madison joined Mill Creek in the fall of 2025. She is currently attending NIU studying psychology with a focus on child development. Prior to working with us she was a swim instructor at a nearby program for many years. Ms. Madison helps with our enrichment classes in the afternoons and then heads into one of our classrooms for the remainder of the day. In the summer she works with our school age campers. Ms. Madison has four cats and one dog and enjoys baking when she is not at work. |
Mrs. Stephanie Mrs. Stephanie began teaching at Mill Creek ECP in January of 2025. After seeing many of our classes out and about she reached out and we are glad she did! She has a bachelors in elementary education and prior to Mill Creek ECP was managing a pet store in Naperville. Mrs. Stephanie has lived in Batavia her entire life. She is married and has a dog named Daphne. Mrs. Stephanie enjoys being outdoors and crafting. Fun Fact: She has the benefit of being able to walk to and from work every day! 
Ms. Gabrielle Ms. Gabrielle was a Teacher in Texas for 4 years before moving to Batavia, Illinois. She joined Mill Creek July 2026. She has always loved working with children and knew she was going to be a teacher from a young age. She started student teaching and coaching in high school before attending Tarleton State University where she received a degree in elementary and early childhood education. When Ms. Gabrielle is not teaching, she is coaching gymnastics, girls on the run, and martial arts. 
Ms. Rachel Ms. Rachel is excited to be joining us this fall. She has been working with children between the ages of 3-5 for 9 years and enjoys every moment of it. Ms. Rachel received her CDA is early childhood in 2025. She loves seeing their growth and the progress them make throughout the year. Ms. Rachel works hard to ensure every child feels safe, secure, and a welcomed member of the classroom community. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking and going to the gym. |

Ms. Kati Ms. Kati joined Mill Creek ECP in the beginning of 2026. She has a bachelor's degree in elementary education and quickly discovered she enjoyed working with younger children. She spent several years working in retail, however her passion for working with children brought her back to teaching once again! Ms. Katie gets the opportunity to know all of the children as helps in all of the classrooms! When she is not working, she enjoys reading, board games, puzzles and baking! |
Ms. Maya Ms. Maya joined us in the fall of 2026. She grew up in Oswego and is currently in her third year of college working towards her degree in secondary education. She has been working with children for the past five years and is excited to be working in a Reggio Inspired program. Creating a safe and welcoming space for all children is very important to her as that allows a child to be themselves. In her free time, she enjoys doing various crafts, especially coloring and bead art. items. She has two cats, prince and princess. |
Ms. Kurin Ms. Kurin started with us in the fall of 2023 as a senior in High School. She is now entering her third year of college going into early childhood education at Illinois State University. Ms. Kurin returns on her breaks from school and over the summers. She has helped in all of our classrooms and this summer she will be working in one of our three to five classrooms with many of the children she has known and worked with since they were toddlers! |
